Starting the food journal tomorrow!

I'm actually excited (but scared)! I bought a little journal that I can carry with me in my purse so I have no excuse not to write in it. I think this will be better than SP right now because I don't always have access to a computer. I'm going to work on finishing up the reading that I need to about the journal and then I'm going to do what the book says. I haven't decided if I'm going to journal my food here yet or not...got to think about that one.

Since you aren't supposed to deprive yourself, I'm going off low-carb. I don't know if it will be permanent or not. I've already been kicking around some ideas for breakfast like oatmeal, whole grain bagel w/peanut butter, and fruit or yogurt. You have NO idea how excited I am about eating whole grains, fruit, and yogurt again!

It will be interesting to see how this goes. Wish me luck!

Good to see you excited about it. I was hella busy today and forgot all about tracking food. However, my body is letting me know that the path I am on is not good - I feel like crap.

I have a q about yogurt. I hate the stuff - the smell makes me gag uncontrollably - but I read online that if you freeze it that it takes away the nasty taste and actually tastes good. Have you or anyone else around here, ever heard or tried that? I know yogurt is so good for you and there are so many options and it is a cheap healthy food. I would love to eat it, but I can't get past that smell.

Anywho, I am making changes, too. I am going cold turkey on the pepsi so I will need you big time, buddy. Expect lots of texts.

I know what you mean. I feel like shit. Guess that just goes to show you that when you put shit in your body, you feel like shit, LOL!

Frozen yogurt...there is a woman I work with that freezes Gogurts like everyday and loves them. Adrian has ate them that way too. I haven't though. Good idea but I don't mind the taste or smell. My personal favorite yogurt is Dannon Light & Fit. Very low calories, sugar-free, and not a bunch of chunky fruit (which I hate, BTW). Just a thought...

Wow! Good luck with that and yes...text away. I'm sure I'll be doing the same. What are you doing on Saturday? I may stop by for a visit since I'll be in town for prom to help DeeDee with her hair and makeup. I can't wait! :D

I know how you feel, Jess. It's going to be so liberating for you!

I'm not a fan of yogurt - I can only eat vanilla or lime. I'll have to try freezing it.

Doing nothing on Saturday. My mom might stop by. I am guessing you will be around later in the day. She is probably coming earlier in the day.

I guess all I can do is try the yogurt and if I don't like it the kids will eat it so no money lost. I hate fruit, so no fruity kinds. I am thinking all those yummy flavors, like caramel, chocolate and the such.
